We recently travelled to Scroby Sands in Norfolk to assist Commercial Rib Charter Ltd with crew transfer to the RWE Renewables offshire wind farm.

A build up of sandbanks had been preventing access to 3 of the turbines. Our amphibious Sealegs 7.1m RIB was the perfect solution. We were able to pick up technicians and equipment from the transfer vessel moored in deeper water, travel at 30mph on the water, then operate in land mode to drive up onto the sandbanks, providing access to the turbines.
